My uncle passed this down to me when I was a baby 40 years ago. He has passed now and I really don't have much history on watch. Steelco 17 jewels and is marked antimagnetic and what I believe to say Matins Swiss.

This brand is from Switzerland and is not very old. The brand Steelco is registered 13.3.1956 and the company behind it is Era Watch Co. SA from Biel.

Thank you tempusfigit, I also read that Steelco was mostly sold in Mexico by a Swiss watch maker?
