    This is a Rexall Puretest Psyllium-Black Tin from the 1920's-1930's era.
    Psyllium-Black was a vegetable-based laxative made by the United Drug Company, Boston & St. Louis, U.S.A. - One pound net weight tin with dark blue and tan color printing. - 5 1/4" tall by 3 1/2" wide by 2 1/2" deep.
    ** Rexall was a chain of North American drugstores and the name of their store-branded products. The stores, having roots in the federation of United Drug Stores starting in 1902, licensed the Rexall brand name to as many as 12,000 drug stores across the United States from 1920 to 1977. -- "Puretest" was trademarked in 1920 by Rexall.
