Buyer beware! i got taken again on one of these again - this time on ebay - being sold as an antique - which it isn't. i could tell as soon as i saw it when it came in the mail. no real dust/grime - just faked w/ brown stain.

i didn't pay much for it, and the seller agreed to take it back, but i haven't gotten around to sending it yet. i did buy it thinking it was an antique though.
Don't feel bad ho2cultcha ..... These pieces look very convincing in pictures. It's happened to me too. Although some are quite interesting like this piece which I actually like. It's a shame it was being misrepresented.

thank you mikelv85 and Vintagefran. i didn't pay much for it, and it is kind of a neat piece despite being new, so i'll give it away to someone [as a new piece] instead of returning it.
I just had a bad experience wih ebay on a photo that was supposed to be original from 1940's . When it arrived it was clearly a scan on new photo paper ! Seller sells lots of photo's so makes me wonder . He did give me a refund when I called him on it . Always have to careful but seeing a photo on ebay of anything and also on CW sometimes it is always better if we can hold it before we decide . Well your frog is as cute as can be anyway :-))))
