I've had this for a couple years but don't know what era it's from. I just love it's beauty and size. It does need some repair but nothing that will take away from it's beauty.
My dog wouldn't move because she was scared of the fireworks that are being let off early.

Thank you for your comments on the trunk and my sweet girl, she is a love. As for the s on the metal I didn't see any all I saw was what looked to be a W on the sides.
Does the s signify something?
Thank you for responding. Your trunk is quite similar to mine although I am thinking mine is a Saratoga since I am in upstate NY. Well we both certainly have beautiful trunks. I will post an image of mine and do a bit of researc h for you. By chance, is your trunk marked with a patent date/year anywhere. Mine was very hard to find
