    Hand painted butterfly plate. Have had no luck identifying the mark. I assume it's Japanese b/c my father was stationed there during the Korean War.

      Is it possible to switch the computer to that language and find out that way? Do u know lots about antiques?

      sorry... lost control of my laptop to my kids...

      i know a lot about computers, but can't wrap my brain re: what you are suggesting... even if i switch to japanese, the computer can't read an image, so how would that help?

      we have to split this koranshi fukagama , and the regular fukagama

      and we have to split ( zo-sei )actually the zukuru or zo is an indication relative to the sei -seiso
      this is an pre chism piece before 1894, because it appaers to be a fukagame zo

      this is made between 1875 - 1893

      and this is this is very nice plate

      the zo pieces are value more intresting than the sei pieces
