Asian ginger jar/vase

Again, don't know much about this one either. I think it's a ginger jar but without the lid. Japanese friend told me ???? which was Chinese for Tashiro-made pottery Shibata but he said it could also be Japanese because the symbols to them mean shibata touki. He said the "ceramics were made by Shibata-Touki which is in Mizunami city on Gifu prefecture in Japan." (Cleaned up his English a little bit). Anyways, found this one also and just thought I'd share. Couldn't verify any of the information online so I don't really know.
