    Hello all.

I recently found this ring while metal detecting. It is stamped CINER and Sterling. I know that Ciner started off making fine jewelry and then later switched to costume in the 30's. If anyone has an idea on when it was made or any other information about it I would be much appreciative.

    Thanks!

What a cool find while detecting! It has a very Art Deco look. The big stone may be a carved amethyst, or could be glass. Some gem labs will do an "ID Test" for quite a low fee (around $20). Worth finding out what the metal is, and what those sparkly little stones are. Great find!
