This is such a beautifully detailed piece of art. Just look at the detail of this silver cork. It cork features the three wise monkeys. The cork measures approximately 1 7/8" tall and approximately 1" in diameter. I don't know the origin of this piece nor do I know what it corked up. It appears to have a hallmark on the top but I can not make it out.
Any ideas about this one? What did it cork? Where did it come from? This is from an estate in Florida.

A pretty piece and the motive of the monkeys is one of my favorites..... Have you seen the Tower of Pisa? http://joybill.blogspot.com.ar/2014/06/pisa-june-10th.html
