Ok Hello, This little pig has been driving me crazy for years trying to figure out what the heck it is. A friend gave it to me when his mom passed. It's 4.5 inches long and 2.5 inches high. The writing on the back says " the pigs eye". It's copper or bronze and is hollow. You plug it in push the button and the ceramic coil on it's butt heats up. It could be an S, then apparently you burn or stamp something with it, (pie crust edge?) That's the only thing I can think of. The cord is braided and appears to be early 40's? Does anyone know what this little piggy was meant to do and anything else about it. Thanks Patricia

It's a Electric Cigar Lighter. I have a ceramic lighter shown here.

Do you really think it could be a cigar lighter? I would never have guessed that. Would you have any idea how old it is? Or anything else about it?
Even though the cord seems to be in pristine condition, do you think I should rewire before I attempt to sell it?
