The toothpick holder measures 2 3/16" tall & 1 13/16" in diameter. It has the Blocked Thumbprint pattern by Duncan & Miller. It is from the early 1900's.

Does anyone know what the meaning of the saying on this toothpick holder is? "Fortal ou the ?ou"
