    1936 patented ice crusher to a N.C. Johnson and manufactured by the Chicago National Die Casting Sales Corporation, 600 N Albany Ave Chicago IL USA . This is the highly styled post WW2 version with the lovey green details on the handle. This one came to me in the original beige and was pretty beaten up. I "restored" it to its new shiny glory and useability. It crushes ice cube like a champ! 14 inches tall. The pre-war 1936 model with the utilitarian stand is easily found on eBay. This much more sculptural post WW2 model is rare. The defunct factory buildings still stand and are now, unfortunately, in a rough part of town. Cheers for looking ...
