    I have a few similar to this, I like the style and the color. It's marked Sterling 4318 on the back, and looks like it might have been modified at sometime in the past. Thanks for looking!

      The marks at the back are certainly where two prongs were soldered to simulate a real buckle!

      It's by William B. Kerr - you can just make out the little hatchet or axe maker's mark to the left of the "sterling." Very nice.
