WWII humorous ration book and my mother, the owner. Notice her military earring. She lived in Sebring, Florida during the war and close to Hendrick's Field.

Leave it to the government to require two points. I wonder if they had to roll their own tampons?

Isn't that the field where we raced the "Sebring" ages ago? Guess that stopped yrs ago?

Yes, that is correct. It used to be a great little sleepy town but it has changed a lot. Not sure if the races continue. I have not been there for awhile.

Not as a driver, but helped build F Production cars & went to work the pits back just after the dinosaurs died off. Sebring had a ring to our ears in our class!

Interesting. My mother always had fond memories of the place.

Bras were really created for the film business shortly before, so probably most women had never had one. The restriction probably boosted black market sales & later markets. I bless whoever came up with the hook fastener that can be opened with a a flip of the fingers! Even more convenient designs have come along since, but enough of that! LOL!!
