THIS LITTLE PIN CUSHION DOLL WAS FOUND IN AN AUCTION BOX. THE NEEDLES ARE ALL RUSTY AND WORTHLESS BUT THE HEAD AND BODY ARE CERAMIC OR CHINA. DON'T KNOW HOW OLD OR IF THERE IS A MAKER MARK.

Very Nice! This is a great pin cushion doll, especially because she is complete with her cushion. I have one similar and she is from Germany and has a number written on her lower back.

To look her up you would look up "half dolls" most being produced from 1900-20's. These dolls were made for pin cushions like yours, or brushes. Most half dolls were made in Germany, China, Japan. Yours is a "china half doll"
