My mother loved her jewelry and collected anything she liked; regardless the artist.
My research has lead me to believe these are Sleeping Beauty stones by a Navajo designer... but who? The back plate, which holds the turquoise, was soldered to the front plate in a way that covers the hallmark. From what I can tell by the marks that do show, the artist could be Al Yazzie, but then again the "D" doesn't point in that direction.

That isn't Al Yazzie's hallmark, that I know of. Don't recognize the D, either.
Maybe someone else can help, good luck. Great earrings!
