I came across this and one other piece at a rummage sale yesterday. I just love pottery and this kind is just magical to me. Signed Carol Nanaki Tewa Village from my research is Hopi. Wasn't able to date the piece though.

Carol Namoki, listed in Gregory Schaaf's "Hopi-Tewa Pottery, 500 Artist Biographies." She was active in the 1960's-1970's.

"Tewa Village" is another name for Hano, one of the three villages on top of First Mesa in Hopi.

Thanks CanyonRoad for that info on Carol Namoki I looked for for info on her but couldn't find much. I have this in a special place, and also thank you all for the loves!
