This is the other clock I found today. It is very similar to one posted by Gkeegan. The dial and hands are slightly different than theirs, but this one works as well, and is sitting next to the other one on the shelf happily ticking away! It's 6" wide at the base, 6"tall and a bit over 2" deep. The case says "Design Patented, and the clock says "patent Pending" It's in really nice shape, though I think it needs to be cleaned, it runs slow. I'm thinking 1930s?

Thanks a bunch, Kerry!! Here's what I found from Luxclocks.net: The Benedict Mfg. Co. produced this clock case (the B in a diamond on the clock dial) in 1926 for the U. S. market. The Benedict Mfg. Co. was located in Syracuse, New York. They were prolific makers of brass, copper, silver plate; bronze and gold wash metal items in the late 1800's and early 1900's.
