I have a small what I assume is silver. It has a beautiful enamel purple top. I really don't know what kind of box it was but when I got it, there was a lock of hair in it. It is not marked. It measures 7/8" x 7/8". I guess I can call it a trinket, pill, or lock of hair box, or snuff box. Whatever is is pretty.

Pretty sure it is silver, seems made in India, I brought some back from a trip to give to friends :-)

And, rather pill box, vintage, than victorian.
