Pierced Bonbon dish Mappin & Webb

This is a wonderful bonbon or sweet meet dish delicately pierced. The detail of the well preserved hallmarks, last picture, tell us it was done by "Mappin & Webb", and proved in Birmingham England (lion and anchor) the date letter "z" for 1924 http://www.925-1000.com/dlc_birmingham.html, a very similar mark can be seen at http://www.silvercollection.it/MW1922BIS.jpg . In the center it can be read Mappin & Webb Made in England and a registry number 634210. Mappin & Webb still is in activity http://www.mappinandwebb.com/ .
On the web I found a very similar one from the same period described as “A sterling silver bon bon dish, mappin & Webb, Birmingham. 1923/4, ascalloped circular dish with gadrooned rim, above pierced diamond sides, supported by three curved feet, weight 52gr. I would bet that this one was done for the German market because it is in a style similar to Jugendstil. Thanks for reading.
