Re-posting to show the painting in the new frame!

I almost passed this up! It was set vertically on a thrift store rack. I had already passed it, before the image of the longhorns registered. It is a little modern, but I think with the right frame it should fit in my cowboy living room just fine!

It measures 25 x 12 (not overwhelming). I believe the technique is "impasto." I have not made out the signature.

It took a bit but I finely found the horn tips I would never of picked it up I thought it was just splattered with paint & broken at that shows how good I am

Zowie, I think my eye is better trained to see cattle, than art! However, the image does not do it justice. The camera really flattens the image.
