When I found this clock, it was sitting in a crate of items that had come from a basement at an estate sale. The globe was so crusted with crud that you couldn't even see the clock. This was at the tail end of the sale, and the lady in charge said "go ahead and fill up a bag for $5". I grabbed this clock, a Fenton Bowl, a copper bowl, and a few smaller knick knacks.
When I got the clock home, I found that the pendulum support fork was jammed down over the globe. I slid that up, and lo and behold, the globe started to pivot! I am slowly getting it in time, but I still can't believe how I found this!

I have one identical and mine has been overhauled fairly recently.

However, what I have discovered/learned is that it is not the wheel above the World globe that you turn to regulate the timekeeping, but the actual globe. I tried this out recently and my clock is only 1/2 hour fast now, so that must have worked. Now all I have to do is be brave once again and turn it some more in the hope I can get even better timekeeping out of it. I love the blue of it as it's my favourite colour and the fact it has a useful Moon phase feature.

Here in the UK they can fetch between £200-400 approx, so I'm going to keep mine for sure.
