I bought this funny little chap at a yard sale a few weeks ago. I cleaned it with simichrome polish as it looked dull and tarnished. It looks pretty old to me but I have no idea of its age and origin... Any help would be much appreciated! :)

CUTE! I have a pewter cat on a piano on CW and your item could be pewter too. Ckeck out my postings to see it. Mine is a good-sized brooch and Hallmarked from USA.
Thanks for you comment, PostCardCollector! Indeed, it may be pewter just like yours. Mine has no hallmark and is about 2" long at the widest...
