This delightful milk glass compote has been a mystery piece. I have been researching it for many weeks and have had no luck discovering who made it or where it was made. -
Just had a reader to my blog identify this as Glimma Glasbruk piece.

Hello, I've done a quick search on line here in Sweden. Glimma glasbruk (glassworks) was in Glimåkra in the south of Sweden. It was in operation 1918-1969. What you call milk glass we call opalin. I have found info that sais these are from the 1950's/1960's. Haven't found who designed it but a site with some names of designers there. They name Agne Aronsson, Gert Nyström, Gunnar Nylund, Eugen Montelin and Erik Höglund. You might find out who designed it by searching those names and Glimma or opalinglas. Good luck!
