Hi all, Can anyone help identify this? It's a Pressurized Oil Can as far as I can tell. It has bakelite handles and is 8" high at the pump handle.
    Thanks

Hello: What makes you think this is a oil can? Does it have residual oil inside the can? It is hard to see the tip on the end of the hose, Is it a spray head, or just a capped open end?
I found a close look alike to your's, (without the hose), that said it was a "vintage garden sprayer".

It looks like some type of sprayer. Maybe an insecticide sprayer?

Thanks Frisco and EricandAlisa, yes, it's a sprayer. Someone must have used kerosene in it though cos it stinks of it.

Good deal turfgroundsmech! I found a couple of these that did not look in as great condition as yours appears. Both said garden sprayer made in England, but neither could provide a makers name. Nice Find!

Usually these are part of engineering plumbers equipment. Its a hot gun that's why you have fuel in it. You pump it for pressure and set light to the end of the cable which had a different shaped connection nozzle. The Swiss made ones are very popular. Some have a recessed area around the handle.
