Brass Table Lamp

Hi

I purchased this lamp at a yard sale and was told that it was once an oil lamp but had been wired for electric-many years ago. The owner told me she had the lamp for 60 plus years but the lamp was in the family prior to it being given to her. It appears to be brass since I was able to shine one end of the oil repository. It is missing the chimney. As far as I can tell there no manufacture marks. It is 17-18" high. Of course the chimney would extend beyond the top of the lamp.

Please advise me if it is worth refinishing and what the value might be.
