So I found these huge sexy earclips yesterday, and I was hoping they could be bakelite, but not sure of it. Today I tested them and indeed, they are! I m so happy with them: they make a set with my two matching faux-malachite bakelite bracelets I showed here earlier.
One of the yellow balls has colored a bit more orange than the other three balls, but I think thats part of the charm of bakelite...the fact it changes color over time.
In the last picture I show you some of my latest bakelite finds. I really like the spacer...nice rootbeer color of prystal and the bakelite roses(got the big brooch for free) Not sure what I will do with the single earclip though, but I couldn t leave it as it was also free ;-)

I never find game pieces, let alone in bakelite, so Im happy with every little piece of jewelry that comes my way.
Valentino, Im really curious to see your rings! It sounds like a good idea for a single earclip or for some buttons.
Unfortunatly, this year I have had not a moment for my own to repair jewelry or to do some projects, as my boy only wantsto sleep ON TOP ofme, and preferably while Im walking around :-) hope this doesn t last till he s 18 years old ;-)
