    I'm guessing here that this is a tenon cutter. The seller told me it was from Veritas, but I see no markings on the tool that indicates it was or wasn't. Is it a tenon cutter? Manufacturer?

      I recently came across one very simular to this and discovered it to be a hollow auger .quit likely fer cutting tenons.

      My father was an used furniture repair man and used one like it to make dowels on chair legs braces etc.
