Art Deco Kissproof Cosmetics Box- 1920s

This little piece of 20's art deco advertising is so amazing. The graphics on the front were considered a bit risqué for the time. Kissproof Cosmetics was started by James Leslie Younghusband, whose entrepreneur spirit really tapped in to what young women of the 20's wanted.

This Kissproof box reminds me of Fitzgerald's "Great Gatsby" book cover- art deco colors and patterns ensconced around a flapper's face.
