Davidson Vaseline Glass, rd 212684

I found this canoe shaped vase in a local charity shop today. I don't know much about this glass, but I remembered an antiques programme mentioning it, so I thought I would splash out and buy it, though it does look brand new, apart from a small split to the rim. I was delighted to find the rd number in the bottom under the price label, and was able to find that the number dates back to the 1890's. It's 9ins, 23cm long.
