This piece is one of the first redware items that I own, actually it was filled with marbles when I bought it and I noticed the beautiful painted designs and how dark the glaze was, no longer have the marbles inside , it sure is suited for potpourri!
i'm pretty sure that this is Mexican redware. nice though!
