Now this has to be one of my favorite pieces in my vast collection, WWII German NSKK Motorcycle Corps Visor Hat Eagle. Shame it is fairly dark on the front, although I think it could be cleaned easily (but I don't want to do that!)
Don't find those everyday. Any idea what metal it's made of ?
I would guess Aluminium, it is a lovely piece
Probably best to leave it alone unless somebody comes up with fool-proof method but nothing is fool-proof, as fools can be ingenious .
Love this piece. I love WW2 collectibles. I have an original print of the "Hitler Dead" kc star newspaper that my mother got me as a birthday gift. I would love to ad a nazi youth armband to my display but many I've seen are fakes being sold as authentic.
I saw an original Hitler photo book a while back and was very tempted to purchase it. Do you have any of those in your collection?
This is the only Nazi piece I have in my collection unfortunately, however, I will be looking at expanding very soon.
