This one looks like an oil can, its made like an oil can, but it has a strange adjustable restrictor that fits in the throat of the spout, there is a maker label on the side but it is damaged by rust so the only word or part word decipherable, is "seed" which made me thing this may be a part of a seed drill?
The can parts are made of mild steel, the spout and the restrictor and adjuster bolt are brass, the adjuster knob is a early rubbery material.

The spout is cut on the chamfer as seen in the first image, it does appear to have a patent number printer very small around the seam edge, but it does not appear to show up in US or UK patent records.

    Any ideas ?
