Im trying to identify this piece aswell as the stone itself. The mount is made from silver and there seems to be incusions in the stone, which makes me think its not glass.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Pale amethyst, I think it is a Chinese carving in an Arts and Crafts mount.
Very pretty, harmonious match :-)

Could it be kunzite ? The colour and the inclusions seem similar.

Difficult to say only from a pic... but probability to encounter a kunzite in Chinese carving is far lowest than an amethyst ;-D
