Rotate the mark 180 degrees, which reads Ku Tani, Nine Valleys. Kutani is an area in Japan which is host to several hundred kilns. Your mark is generic Kutani, that is, it does not carry additional kanji identifying a specific kiln. The decoration format with peacock and rose theme is very similar to Chinese vases made at Jingdezhen about 1950. I would date this vase to the fourth quarter of the 20th century.
