Ivy ring vase. Made in China/Japan. 6.5" diameter. That's all the info I can find for it. Can anyone help with more info? Maybe how old and why it shows both China & Japan on it? Thank you.

UCAGCO is United China and Glass Company. It's offices were based in New Orleans and New York. It's a distributor rather than a manufacturer and dates to 1850 under other names. In the 1930 s it became UCAGCO. Your piece is likely post war and even rather modern. It is marked 'Japan' because that is where it was made. The small logo in the center may identify the maker.
