This is a great looking Vase. It looks Roman or Greek piece, but I'm really not sure. It's been in the family for over 50 years. On the bottom, it has numbers D-334. Under that number is 119 58 and there is the number 2 just below the space between the 9 and 5 (above). There also is writing around the numbers (around the bottom rim). Its very difficult to read. Part of it says "prohibits sale" - All the letters run together. Very interesting piece. It is Black with White Spartan-type man sitting in chair. He has a spear in one hand, and there is a Trojan looking helmet sitting next to him. Beautiful condition. Has no marks or scratches. Any ideas on this piece, please advise & much appreciated.

It's a 1958 Jim Beam Whiskey decanter. Missing stopper. Quite common. Sorry.
