Help with Ironstone Stafford Pottery "sample/test plate"

Hi

Never having seen one before, I am trying to find information on this dinner size plate - recently bought in a flea market.

I think it is called a sampler or test plate. Does anyone one have any ideas - especially regarding its age and if it is rare ? I guess not too many were made ?
