I was drawn to this set the minute I laid eyes on it at a local Thrift Store. It has my name all over it; I just love vintage furniture.
The table has an additional two leaves hidden inside, eight chairs (2 need some minor repair done; using 6 now), buffet/side board has a pull out copper shelf for hot items and the hutch. This is all carved detail on the doors and chairs. My favorite is the massive table legs.
I am unable to pin down the year it was made so please chime in.They just don't make them like this anymore.
    Thanks

Looks to be solid wood and VERY HEAVY!

The style looks to be second quarter, 20th century. The stencil marking would make me think a little later-- maybe 1950s- 70s.

I'd check the bottoms/ backs of all pieces and you may find more information/ date.

The company is still in business today, so they may be able to provide a more precise dating based on the #1507 and stencil marking.

Thanks Scott. I emailed them and is looking forward to hearing from them. The table is very heavy.

I have the same set. Was my Grandmothers. She purchased in 1931 but my documents state the set was built in 1924.

Thank you Turtlerock. This piece will be with me for a long time. Do you mind sharing a pic? I'd love to see yours.

We have just moved and not all the pieces are together right now. I am building a new home with a dining room to show off the set. When that is done I will send a pick.

Hoping this thread is still active—I just stumbled on this post today. I was looking for clues about the dining room set that was passed down from me from my parents and grandparents before them. And this is the exact set I have! I can confirm that 1924 is a likely date of creation. My grandparents bought a house and moved to Los Angeles in 1925 and I believe bought the set at that time.
