Item was picked by a close family friend about 10 years ago...
The story she was told was the piece came from a temple in China.. The valley was flooded by the state and prior to this individuals removed items...
Piece is about 2' and made of Jade...
Any information is truly appreciated.
Best, Russell
almost all of these archaic jade pieces are fake. if real, this would be worth hundreds of thousands of dollars or even in the millions. there are some very sophisticated ways to make them appear old.
