A relative who served in Vietnam recently passed. I was cleaning out his attic when I discovered this somewhat tattered but interesting Jacket. The back states: "Fighter by Day Lover By Night Drunkard By Choice Always Ready To Fight." There is also a map of Vietnam on the back and a tiger head on the front. "Phu Bai" is mentioned on the map. Does anyone have any information regarding this?

I love military tour jackets!
The jacket is made out of a poncho liner and the light blue liner is typical. They were very popular souvenir items from the VN war.
There are several sayings that are found on them. Yours is probably the most desirable. "When I die I'll go to heaven because I did my time in hell" is another slogan that I've seen a lot of.
