Hello I have this lovely glass bird and wonder if it's murano and if it's a collectable one as I have never come across one before now.

Not Murano, quality isn't there.
Probably Chinese import.

Sorry, but that's the way it is. As Dizzy said, the quality just isn't there. Murano peacocks look much different. See for yourself:

I meant you always seem to spot the Chinese imports if that's where it's from
It might be from a lesser known factory in Italy, but I think Asia is the best bet.
