This vintage brooch is a flea market find and I'm wondering who the maker is. Can you help me?

The picture is small and its hard to tell that it has a signature. If you can get a picture of the entire back that may help us. Many times the construction can help identify a maker. I love the colors, nice find!

I will see if I can get a better photo. There are no words. It only has this little shield with a cross on it. At first I thought it was a heart, but I settled on the shield idea. I couldn't find anything like it in the online reference places I checked.

I think maybe it is British or Dutch, but that's as much as I can determine at this point.

Wow! Seeing it from the back has made this piece very interesting. I still cant tell the mark. You think its a shield w/cross? It looks more like an acorn or just an imperfection in the casting. Whatever it is you can see its a quality piece. I tink I saw a Regency bracelet and earrings set that was very similar to this piece. I will keep trying to figure this out if you find the maker let us know.

Hi the makers mark shaped like an arch sideways (or wishbone side ways depending on your perspective) is for Elizabeth Reimer (brand name Arcansas) - it is an Australian designer from the late 1950s through to at least the 1970's +?) She exported all over the world. Great piece!!
