    I have this Dent Big Chief cap gun but the mechanism is made to be inoperable. Does anyone know the reason why?

      Functional as a cap gun is too violence orientated. Probably easier & cheaper to get the kid an RPG.

      It looks to me like this is just one of the styles made. No working parts just a two part mold. It was probably cheaper to make and sell and parents didn't have to buy caps for it. One of the people trying to sell one said it was from 1930 but...
