    Hullo,
I'd appreciate help in identifying this unusual find: its' a cut-glass bottle (or vase?) with no stopper, fairly weighty but not very brilliant, and it stands a good 14inches/36cms tall and is 4ins/10cms at widest in bottom middle. It has vertical fine notching along the cuts on the neck. It could work well with a long-stemmed flower stalk or hold plenty of wine for a party!
    Thanks in anticipation.

Hi! Very nice find. By looking and touching the item inside at the top of the neck - you can tell whether it is a carafe or vase. Smooth very shiny surface - it is a cut glass vase. If the surface is not shiny it is cut glass carafe/ bottle and it is missing the stopper. The cut is very nice. My guess would be that it was made in Czechoslovakia.
