My mom had this on her dresser for several years. She used to tell me it was rare and had never seen another. The closest I've come to finding anything similar is a noritake luster clown ring dish.
Any idea what the marking is on the back or anything about it? Any help would be appreciated.

She is beautiful and unusual.
I thought European at first then noticed the Made in Japan stamp.
I think 1930s based on the style and stamp.
I found one on Pinterest but it's Ebay link is dead.
