#51 ~ Vtg RWB Suede American Flag Hippie Counter Culture Vests

I have a big weakness for these 1960s - 1970s RWB Suede American Flag Hippie Counter Culture Vests. I show some of my examples - which in spite of the "obvious" fact in which folks seem to think these are all the same and would be boring to collect multiples, these show how they vary. I have another with red stars on a blue background as a further variation. Etc. All with different histories: The first one above I believe was from an Arizona biker, the middle one a recent estate find - from "Mom's hippy days" and the last was discovered in the closet of a lady in New Hampshire who had received it as a gift in the 1970s. More "important" examples of the counter culture flag theme will show up later.
