Pedal car found after many years

This car was originally my Mothers 65 years ago when she was a kid. It set outside in the elements until I played with it 35 years ago. At some point it ended up in my mothers garage and when cleaning up today we found it.

No one in the family seems to remember what make or model this was or the exact year it came from. Any one out there able to recognize it? Any tips on identifying it?
