My daughter gave this to me in a box with matching earrings. The little old lady that lived across from us gave it to her. Her kids put her in a nursing home. And she really didn't belong there yet. And they were throwing everything out. So we got a few things from her. She really was so sweet. I have no idea about it other than i think it was her daughters. That i guess didn't deserve it. It is marked on the inside. I can't read it right now. Other than the 10k. I'll look better when its better light.
Such a sad story . I work in care home and I know from experience care home is not always a best solution.
I also feel it is so sad kids put parents in a nursing home if there is another option . Beautiful ring .
Yes the her kids told all us neighbors she was moving in with the daughter. Then on the last day we found out she was going into a home. .she wasn't that old. .but had a stroke.. she still had a good job. .i don't understand.
I have an update. I found out the ring is from Helzberg diamonds..
Thank you. I think of her often. Kids can be terrible. Sorry about your loss. But just remember everything is just stuff. . Its the moments you had and what remains in your heart. We all leave someday
