Can anyone shed some light on this brooch and what does the 75 mark mean? I was thinking 75=750=18karat gold?
Brooch is 3 inches wide and filigree is beautiful and overlapping

A very pretty brooch. The number 75 has nothing to do with the metal content, and is likely the number of the design used. This is a machine pressed, base metal costume brooch with a simulated center stone and glass accent stones. Date is probably mid-century, maybe Czech.
