All holders shown are Schafer & Vater (S&V), makers of small ceramic items. The factory was located in Germany from 1890 to 1962. Some pieces are marked with the Crown and R mark, but many are unmarked. The geisha stands about 4" tall and holds 7 hatpins. The kewpie holder is 4 1/2" tall and holds 8 hatpins. The grecian design holder is 5" tall and holds 8 hatpins. The portrait holder is 4" tall and holds 8 hatpins - this holder is great for display of 7" hatpins.
I have to say wow! I love it on CW when I see things I have not seen before, particularly when they are as good as these. Quality shines.

I can only say wow too! That kewpie hatpin holder is just fab! (the others too of course!)
